Originally from Maine, Vanessa graduated magna cum laude from the nursing program at University of New England in Portland, Maine in 2005. She moved back to Florida after graduation and worked at Naples Community Hospital for one year, working on the general surgical and neuroscience units. She currently lives in Sarasota with her dog Samson.
